ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

UCIPD received a report that an attempted burglary took place at a residence in Mesa Court student housing on Tuesday, March 10 around 9:50 p.m. An unknown suspect entered the patio area and opened the patio sliding door and pulled back the curtains. The suspect was verbally confronted by the residents and quickly retreated. The victim described the suspect as male White or Hispanic, wearing a dark blue or gray parka jacket, shorts, having facial hair and a tattoo of a snake head on the left side of his neck.

Police officers canvassed the area and were not able to find a subject matching the description provided. If you have information that could be helpful in this investigation, please contact UCIPD at (949) 824-5223.
